“Well, when we went into the Achaeus program we were pretty confident. We thought that we were on top of most of our issues. In retrospect, we were more arrogant than confident.

Our Milestone Manager really challenged us. And there were some very heated moments! But we realised that we didn’t know much about our competitors, that the business didn’t really fit together and the marketing was not linked to our expected financial results.

We simply did not know enough about our market. Even our company name had to be changed because our target market didn’t relate to it. Something that we did not realise before the program.

Developing our business plan was a major turning point for us. The biggest benefit to us was in knowing the funding that we needed for our planned activities. We also learnt how to source the funds.

We are now on target to increase our revenue by a factor of 6. .As well, we moved our margin from 15% to nearly 30%.

Because of our market focus, we signed 5 new clients in just a few months with 25 hot prospects in our pipeline.

Through the Achaeus process we now understand the value of alliances. We just hired an Alliance Manager and have signed our first alliance partner.

Because of our increased revenue, we have added 6 new staff and appointed 2 new sub contractors.”
